Susan has been teaching business and social etiquette since 2002 through her work in alumni relations for seven years at the University of Illinois and since 2008 through her private etiquette training courses.

She appeared on WCFN/WCIA "The Morning Show" as an etiquette expert from 2008 to 2010, where she addressed etiquette for a variety of modern topics, including offices, roommates, gift giving, dating, apologizing, tipping, traveling, cell phone use, pregnancy, holiday parties, kids in restaurants, and basic public civility.

Susan has instructed wide ranges of university student groups in business interview etiquette, business dining etiquette, and social dining etiquette. In addition, she has conducted international dining and social etiquette training through the European Union at the University Of Illinois.

Susan's clients also have included Senior Girl Scouts, Brownies, The Executive Women's Club, University of Illinois student athletes, University High School, and the Parkland College Trio Program.

Prior to teaching etiquette classes and dinners, Susan earned her Ed.M.at the University of Illinois in 2001 following her time teaching World Cultures and American History to high school students and educational psychology to university students. Susan also has an A.B. in History from the University of Illinois and is a former registered nurse.
